London is one of the best places for festive activities. From Christmas markets to music events and new restaurant seasonal menus, London has it all.
We want you to have the most relaxing time this Christmas. So while you and your loved ones exchange your Flightgifts, you can celebrate those fabulous presents and each other doing all the festive activities below:
While this is perhaps not the most original one, Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park is always great. This year to the long list of live shows they have also added a Comedy Club, Ice Sculpting Workshops and The Snowman Experience all of which you can book in advance to avoid the queues. Afterwards, you can indulge in some churros and then head on a rollercoaster or a spinning bar for some mulled wine.
Watch the all-time festive classics like Home Alone, in an Igloo this Christmas. The Nomad Cinema is known for its pop up cinemas around the city and this winter they bring you a cinema cosily tucked away inside an igloo, away from the cold. This guarantees to be the cosiest you’ll ever feel watching your winter favourites this year.
Kew’s Christmas Lights
Take a walk through the most beautiful fairy lights you will see this winter. Kew is officially open for festivities and people cannot stop taking photos of this gorgeous setup. It includes a field made from 10,000 dancing bulbs, over 1 million lights dotted around the garden, a tunnel of fairy lights and a laser garden. All of this is making the huge botanical gardens light up as one massive festive light show.
Gin T with a View of The Thames
This year is all about the Igloos! This time you can sip on a delicious Gin and Tonic, overlooking London City. But do not fear, you will not be cold. The igloos are equipped with fluffy blankets, heaters, cushions and some fairy lights to set the mood. Make this your festive spot for the afternoon weekend drinks with your friends in London this winter.
