How does Flightgift work? Gift and redeem flights in a few simple steps

Flightgift works in three steps. The buyer chooses an amount between £25 and £10,000 and pays online. The recipient receives a gift card with a unique redemption code by email, post or in person. They then search for flights on Flightgift, choose from 400+ airlines and apply the code at checkout.

Buying an actual plane ticket for someone else is rarely the easiest option, because you need their full passport name, preferred destination and travel dates. A flight gift card solves this. With Flightgift, you choose the amount, and the recipient chooses the airline, route and date themselves. The booking is made in their name from the start, avoiding name-change issues.

Use a flight gift card. You pay the value now, and the recipient chooses the dates later. Flightgift gives them the freedom to plan a trip that fits their schedule.

You can redeem your Flightgift card on our website. Go to the redeem page, search for your destination and choose your travel dates. In the results, you can filter by airline and price, then select the flight that works best for you. At checkout, enter your gift card code and pay.

If the gift card value is lower than the flight price, you can pay the remaining balance with your chosen payment method. If the flight costs less than the gift card value, you can use the remaining balance for another booking.

eGift cards and PDF flight vouchers can be sent to any email address. Physical cards are shipped worldwide, with tracked express shipping available at an extra cost. The recipient can book flights departing from their own country when they redeem the card.
